Just like other reviewers I was skeptical... could a tool bag really be worth this much? Well, also like other reviewers, I can say it's 100% worth it. From top to bottom, this is a winner. The solid polypropylene base makes it safe to put down not only on wet pavement when you need to open your truck, but even in puddles or mud. With the sides folded down all of your tools are within easy reach - you can remove any tool and put it back without having to move other tools. Even with the sides folded down, the bag maintains it's shape due to the rigid center panel - the backbone of the bag. The handle is rock solid, and the strap is comfortable but durable. I'm fitting way more into this bag that I had in the similarly sized open top bag I had previously been using. If you're willing to sacrifice a pocket or two, your can easily store a subcompact cordless screwdriver, drill, or impact driver, from most any "12 volt" product line, and possibly even a parts box. I ended up replacing my parts box with two smaller boxes (approx. 3-1/2" x 4" x 1") that easily fit in the pockets.Things I think could stand some improvement:- Using velcro to keep the strap on the handle seem like a bad idea, especially for dirty or dusty environments; I'd like to see all their bags use the same clip on the strap that newer models use. However, I haven't had the bag long enough for this to be a problem.- Though the zippered pockets don't hinder use of the bag in any way, I consider them all but useless - unless you consider boosting the pocket count to be useful. They only really have room to hold something flat, and if you want your flat stuff to remain flat, don't put it in the outside zippered pockets - when you fold down the sides, the folds go right through the middle of the outside zippered pockets. Outside zippered pockets should be positioned so that the the folded sides fold between the pockets, not through them.- No seal between the fabric sides and the polypropylene base leaves a way for water to get into the bag, even if the outside water level is below the zipper level. Will this bag work for you? Probably. But if you're unsure, search through the countless pictures on the Internet and see just how many tools people are able to get into their Veto bags, then got for it. Really, you won't be disappointed.
