An old cast iron Plant Dibble/Bulb Planting Tool from the 1800s made by the famous horticulturist Peter Henderson. It is marked "Peter Henderson & Company, New York" on side of handle. Measures 1.5" in diameter x 10.0" and weighs one pound. Peter Henderson was famous for his seeds and bulbs in the mid 19th century. He also made quality garden tools that were made to work well for the avid gardener. Item is in good condition, worn from use and age, with cracks, has been pinned over and the two pieces are separating.
