My son was extremely nervous with me doing this himself from a watch his girlfriend gave him. However, not nervous enough to go himself to a jeweler and get it resized. It seemed easier to me to do it ourselves, if possible. Watched about 40 seconds on youtube and, voila, I became an expert with these easy to use tools. And, without any damage to his watch.I have a watch band that needed shortened by two links. I was terrified to undertake this task, but this tool kit was perfect. I easily removed one link from each side of the band. There were instructions included so I didn’t have to guess. And my band had the arrows that clearly showed me the correct direction to push out the pins. The pins were easy to push back in. I’m going to see how many more of my watches I can use this on!This is a great buy. Works well. I buy Apple Watch bands on Amazon. The tool they provide to remove links does not usually last long; or it only has one replacement pin. This is in a nice storage envelope. The hammer is a good addition for hard to remove pins. I recommend this product.The watch my husband adjust and it works pretty well and hold the watch good. The kit is really helpful and useful.
