I bought this tool for a laminate flooring project. But my first use was cutting a sink hole in a new kitchen counter top. There's no room toward the back to get a jig saw in there. The narrow oscillating tool is recommended. I had to order a semi-circle blade with a fine cutting teeth in order to have a steady, smooth cut. The tool is well-balanced in the hand. It vibrates but puts the energy into the blade, not your wrist. The tool feels well-made. The charger and batteries seem solid to me. Probably not the tool for a daily professional user. though. I may be wrong on that. I definitely recommend have two batteries ready for a larger project. Charging rate is average. I did have some down time while charging. The dead battery did not charge fast enough to keep up with the second battery which was in use while charging the first battery. Another FYI. The sink mounting channel sat against the solid wood bracing in the cabinet. It prevented me from installing the sink hold-down clips. I used this tool and a long "hardwood" blade to cut notches out of the bracing, which allowed me to lock down the sink. Without the Craftsman, I never would have been able to get those notches cut. Maybe with a sharp chisel, but it would have been very difficult laying on my back, inside the cabinet. So 5-stars for the technology and 5-stars for the Craftsman. I worked it hard and it never complained. The no-tool blade changing "chuck" is great. I was able to swap blades quickly. Since I'm not doing this for a living, I can live with the "slower" battery recharging time. I also looked at Harbor Freight but their warranty period was much less than the Craftsman. I looked at the V20 product line and ended up buying other V20 tools. So I am all in with this Craftsman series. The drill and jig saw are working well for me also.
