Being offered for sale is the antique SOLID EBONY & BRASS SHIPWRIGHT'S BEVEL by unknown maker (no visible maker's marks but monogrammed "G.K.", "AMH" & "K" at one side - see 3rd & 4th pics), from circa the late 18th/19th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. Good/VG antique condition with moderate overall wear from normal use over the years but NO major breaks or repairs. Multiple splits/minor cracks, dings, dents, stains, scuffs, scratches, etc. throughout (see last picture for close-up of worst split/splintering). Pivot point/joint has good pressure - not too tight, not too loose. Superbly rich patina throughout. See pics.
